Working in a joint venture with Murton Farm Estate Ltd, we brought the site back to life, transforming it into a high-specification residential community comprising ten detached and semi-detached homes.

Designed by Blake Hopkinson Architecture and constructed by APD Build, the scheme balances contemporary living standards with local agricultural character.


Sustainable Construction: Precision-engineered modern timber frame systems provided by Fencehouse Truss Company along with modern air source heat pump central heating system.

 

  • Material Palette: High-grade stone masonry, vertical timber cladding, slate roofing, and retained traditional stone boundary walling.

Balkwell Avenue

An exciting new development at Balkwell Avenue, replacing an unkempt garden with two new modern flats. The site is not without historical interest as the Pineapple pub adjacent to the site, is the birth place of the neoclassical architect, John Dobson, who became the most noted architect in the North of England!

The ground floor flat consists of two bedrooms with a small private patio area outside. The upper maisonette is complete with two bedrooms, an ensuite and a very useful utility room.
